Chapman River Cellar Door, the venue for Jane’s Footprints, is a Kangaroo Island icon, the brainchild of Diana and Bruce Keir.
Diana has brought her artistic sensibilities, and years’ worth of collected treasures, to a disused aircraft hanger, and transformed it into a cellar door like no other.
Guests will be greeted with nibbles and a complimentary glass of wine before the performance.
Supper for the Jane’s Footprints event will reflect the produce, and cooking methods, of Jane’s time and of the area. Settlers lamb stew, Chapman River chicken provencale, Antechamber Bay fish pie, are complemented by Kangaroo Island potatoes and pumpkin, and damper. And for dessert, sticky date pudding with cream.
Drinks to accompany dinner are $18 for a bottle of Happiness, $6 for a glass of wine or beer, $5 for juice and $3.80 for tea or espresso coffee
